Malang — An atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie marked the Cangkrukan gathering between the Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya and members of the Malang Raya media at Warung Isor Nongko, Malang City. The event served as an opportunity to strengthen friendship and communication between Korem 083/Bdj and journalists, Saturday (August 29, 2026).
Commander of Korem 083/Baladhika Jaya, Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan, S.Sos., M.M.S., M.Han., attended the event accompanied by the Chief of Staff, section and staff officers, and the organizing committee. The gathering was also attended by the chairpersons of PWI and IJTI, representatives of the Indonesian Association of Photojournalists (Pewarta Foto Indonesia), representatives of the Press Council/AJI Press Experts, and members of the Malang Raya media community.
In a relaxed and family-like atmosphere, the Danrem emphasized the importance of building closer communication between the Indonesian Army (TNI) and members of the media. Korem 083/Bdj and the media are expected to continue collaborating in delivering positive, educational, and informative content to the public while jointly contributing to the maintenance of stability and security in the Malang Raya area.
To further strengthen camaraderie, the gathering featured a friendly card game that was conducted in a spirit of sportsmanship. The competition created an entertaining atmosphere, with the Danrem presenting prizes and medals to the winners as an appreciation for their participation and spirit of togetherness.
Through the event, Colonel Inf. Wahyu Ramadhanus Suryawan expressed his hope that the strong relationship and communication established with the Malang Raya media community would continue to grow. Stronger synergy is expected to foster healthy public communication while making a positive contribution to the community and maintaining stability in the Malang Raya region.
